Chris Lobus, Ph.D., developed his professional passion for marketing while working as a project manager in finance and software development, after earning his master’s in business from USD. That passion directed the focus of his dissertation topic for his doctorate from Alliant International University — “The Effects of Online Advertising on Human Aggression” — and Lobus has being putting that knowledge to the test for the past seven years at iProspect, a digital marketing agency. It’s part of the world’s third-largest digital marketing network with 50,000 employees in 60 countries. Lobus oversees 20 project managers in seven U.S. offices and supports the marketing operations of over 800 employees. He has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of San Diego, and was an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy. Adventures during his five-year service included chasing down Chinese and Russian submarines with the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Forces, and saving lives during the 2003 Iraqi War.
