TaylorMade’s partnership with SDSU’s College of Extended Studies (now SDSU Global Campus) has provided us with a very affordable Lean Enterprise training solution that is flexible and designed around our company’s culture and needs. Our participation in the public program was good exposure to the tools and philosophy of Lean. The real power has come from bringing it in house and making it relevant to our business.

We have seen improvements to processes across TaylorMade – in product development, supply chain, customer service, and the cash collection cycle. The instructors consistently get rave reviews for their expertise, delivery, approachability and flexibility. SDSU’s College of Extended Studies (now SDSU Global Campus) has worked with us to establish a true collaboration that meets our company’s needs.

SDSU College of Extended Studies (now SDSU Global Campus) worked collaboratively with us to customize programs for our organization. They taught the programs – then taught with our in-house training staff – and offered great consultation as subject-matter experts on the course content and coaching on how to debrief group problem-solving activities and coaching skills practices.

Our staff got to apply the model to an actual work problem, work through the steps, and get hands-on practice using the various tools on their selected problem. We were impressed with the range of services CES (now SDSU Global Campus) provides- it is wonderful and convenient to have the local expertise.
