Dr. Kastner-Treisman is a licensed psychologist in California. She has practiced in a variety of clinical and forensic psychiatric settings including state and county correctional facilities for juveniles and adults. Her experience includes serving as a psychological assistant who performed assessments for criminal and clinical cases, and providing crisis counseling. She earned her doctorate degree (Psy.D.) in clinical forensic psychology at Alliant International University, San Diego, and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Diego State University with honors. Dr. Kastner-Treisman published a dissertation on the subject of police psychological screening measures and has lectured extensively on topics related to correctional and police psychology.
