Interested in Osher @ SDSU? Our programs are created with the 50 and better population in mind. However, anyone can join.
Our members come from all walks of life; many are retired yet others are still working. Members drive our community – as a member, you support quality programs for lifelong learners and help Osher @ SDSU to thrive. You even get a say in the topics we select and future programming!
Membership fees are critical to our institute’s success and sustainability. They help support our dynamic quality programming and continue to grow our engaged learning community and the connection to a national network of lifelong learners, the Bernard Osher Foundation.

Annual Membership
(available for first two months of each term)
Membership is required to attend courses at Osher @ SDSU. Purchase your annual membership to register for courses. Your annual membership includes all of the benefits above. Course fees apply for each course registration. Please purchase your annual membership BEFORE registering for courses.
Cost: $99 (one person per membership)
Important Notes For Membership Purchases
- Please note that you can sign up for membership at any time, but you need to register for at least one class in order to receive our membership benefits.

Osher @ SDSU members can purchase an SDSUcard for a one-time fee of $25. With your SDSUcard, you’ll have access to several exclusive benefits, including:
- Special student pricing at area theaters, museums, cultural facilities, and public transportation (please contact participating organizations for rates and availability).
- In future terms, you can renew your SDSUcard at no additional charge by renewing your membership and registering for Osher classes.
