U.S. Air Force ROTC
SDSU Global Campus offers a unique U.S. Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program designed for eligible candidates from participating local colleges and universities outside of San Diego State University.
Our Mission
The mission of San Diego State University Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is to produce leaders for the Air Force and build better citizens for America. As a cadet in our U.S. Air Force ROTC program, you’ll be working towards a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and learn the skills you need to become a competent Air Force leader.

- AS 201B Team and Leadership Fundamentals (1 Units)
- AS 233 – Field Training Unit (3 Units)
- AS 300B – Leading People and Effective Communication (4 Units)
- AS 400B – National Security Affairs/Preparation for Active Duty (4 Units)
- AS 499 – Special Study (1 Unit)
How to Register
Please follow the instructions below to successfully enroll in courses.
Once you’ve chosen your courses, click the Enroll button below to begin the registration process. Please indicate on the form that you’d like to register for courses.
Once you’ve filled out the Enrollment form, you’ll receive a confirmation email from SDSU Global Campus within 2-3 business days with the next steps to complete your enrollment.
Once registration opens for your courses, you can register in the my.SDSU portal.
Complete your full payment in my.SDSU after your registration has been submitted. Click here for more information on our payment and drop policy.
