Do you hear everyone mumbling? Chances are that you have developed hearing loss. Approximately one in three people in the United States between the ages of 65 and 74 has hearing loss, and nearly half of those older than 75 have difficulty hearing. Left untreated, hearing loss may impact your mood as well as your physical and brain health. Dr. Jill Preminger from San Diego State University’s School of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences will present on the importance of good hearing and will be available for discussion.
