Receive Emergency Alerts

SDSU has established a notification system that is capable of sending text (also known as SMS) and e-mail messages in the event of a campus-wide emergency, SDSU online service outages, or health and safety concern. We encourage everyone in the SDSU community to sign up for alerts to stay up to date with the latest critical information.

Visit urgent.sdsu.edu/ to sign up for alerts.

SDSUid: SDSU Student Account for University Services

SDSUid is the campus single identifier used to securely access new IT services. All SDSU students are provided an SDSUid, which must be activated in order to access crucial services including a student email account, the Online Learning Management System (Canvas), Library, Campus ID Card, parking permit, SDSU intranet, and other important services. A full list of these services can be found at SDSUid Services.

Google G Suite for Students

If you are a new student, an email was sent to your email account on file in your SDSU Global Campus account shortly after enrolling in a course. If you cannot locate your email, please make sure it was not sent to your junk mail. The message was branded with the SDSU Logo and SDSUid activation information. The message was sent from DoNotReplySDSUid@sdsu.edu.

If you cannot locate your SDSUid activation email submit an email to itsupport.global@sdsu.edu for further assistance or call the SDSU Global Campus Help Desk at (619) 594-5893.
