To stay on track for SDSU Global Campus online degree completion, you should:
Fill out the program interest form.
Review the Transfer Admission Requirements here.
Meet the CSU Criteria:
60 or more transferable semester units (90 or more quarter units) completed
American Institution (can be completed before graduation)
Pass the Writing Placement Assessment with a score of 10, or Rhetoric and Writing Studies 305W or Linguistics 305W with a grade of C (2.0) or better once admitted to the program. Please visit wpa.sdsu.edu for the latest information on this requirement.
Completion of lower division GE with a grade of C- or higher to include the Golden 4 requirements
- Area A1 - Oral Communication
- Area A2 - Written Communication
- Area A3 - Critical Thinking
- Area B4 - Quantitative Reasoning
Meet the Degree Program Criteria:
Required GPA based on program
- Business Administration: minimum of 2.75+
- Communication: minimum of 2.75+
- Child Development: minimum of 2.4+
- Criminal Justice: minimum of 2.8+
Completion of lower division preparation for the major requirements
- Business Administration: 27 units
- Communication: 6 units
- Child Development: 27-28 units
- Criminal Justice: 12 units
Academic Advising and Counseling:
Meet with your academic advisor/transfer counselor to ensure you are on track to meet SDSU admission requirements.

Admission decisions are made after the application period has closed.
You will be notified via email once an admission decision has been rendered.
Do not send transcripts unless you are offered admission.
Check SDSU Webportal for admission status, updates, and transcript deadlines.
*Please Note: Due to COVID-19, the Writing Placement Assessment (WPA) has been temporarily suspended. Upper division students may register for an approved upper division writing course to satisfy the Graduation Writing Assessment (GWAR). Completion of the approved upper division writing course with a “C” or better will fulfill the GWAR required for your bachelor's degree.
