Irina Potapova earned her Ph.D. in Language and Communicative Disorders at San Diego State University and the University of California San Diego. Potapova's research investigates typical and atypical speech and language development, with an emphasis on dual language development. In addition to this research background, she is a licensed speech-language pathologist. Dr. Potapova combines her research and clinical experiences to inform her teaching.
