Charlotte Lopes has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 35 years in the University and hospital settings. She was the SDSU Speech-Language Clinic Director and Coordinator of Clinical Education for 28 years before her retirement in 2021. She primarily supervised Early Intervention diagnostic and intervention practica, including working with children with hearing loss. She taught the Clinical Methods and Aural Rehabilitation classes. In the acute care hospital setting, she works with adults, many of whom have hearing loss as well as aphasia, traumatic brain injuries, and dysphagia.
