Dawn has more than 30 years in Human Resources, including 20 years in hospitality, with an emphasis in employee relations and leadership development. For more than a decade, she has taught in the HR Certificate Program at SDSU Global Campus and owns her own business providing HR consulting, leadership training and coaching, as well as public speaking.
Dawn's mission is advocating for mental health and fostering a workplace culture that embraces open dialogue and support. Her goal is to shed light on the importance of mental well-being, breaking down stigmas, and encouraging organizations to prioritize the holistic growth and development of their employees. Her zone of genius is in employee relations and leadership development where she teaches the method she created - CYA Squared™.
