Marla Harr is a seasoned event professional with more than twenty years of experience in special events and meeting management. Prior to her move to meetings and hospitality, she served as an executive in the retail industry, where she focused on training and development and human resources. Of her many accomplishments, she is most proud of being part of the conference team of Classroom Connect Inc., who won Meeting Professional International’s Global Paragon Award for excellence in meeting planning.

Marla Harr is owner and chief consultant of Celebrations by Design and Business Etiquette International, a faculty associate at Arizona State University and California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and certified by the Protocol School of Washington® as a business etiquette and international protocol consultant/trainer.
