Michelle Freeland, BS, CMP began her career in the meeting planning industry working for a third-party company while attending San Diego State University majoring in Business, Marketing.
In 1995, after graduating from SDSU she opened her own meeting planning company managing corporate, medical, and pharmaceutical programs ranging from 50 – 5,000 attendees, in domestic and international cities.
In 2000, Michelle earned her CMP and continues to participate in educational conferences, earning CEUs to maintain the CMP certification and staying updated on the latest information trending in the meeting planning industry.
Her experience is vast, as she has worked on all aspects of planning a conference, including the hotel negotiation and contracting stages, exhibits, registration, food & beverage, websites, IT, audio visual, and onsite management. She has done it all and wants to share her knowledge with those who want to learn.
