Course Search
This introductory search engine optimization (SEO) course will show you how to increase your website traffic, and more importantly, your conversions from organic search results. Gain valuable information around four key elements of SEO: "under-the-hood" website coding, creating compelling content, using Social Media for SEO, and data tracking/analysis.
The core element of this class is a project in which you'll set up and create content for your own website using Wordpress (domain and website hosting account not included in the tuition fee). No previous experience is necessary; we'll guide you through every step of the process.
You'll also learn about the exciting world of SEO through a series of asynchronous lectures, supplemented by a variety of articles and videos that cover the SEO essentials. Your instructor will hold weekly office hours where you can ask questions, get advice, and start discussions with your professor and your classmates.
This course is open to anyone interested in SEO, even beginners. Experience in website development or marketing is not required.
