CM 0016 Financial Management of Government Contracts
What you need to know to establish an accounting system that can be audited for a government contract and financially manage the contract once it is awarded. This course presents an overview of government cost accounting practices, concepts and controls; government audit and contractor interface relationships, FAR cost principles, TINA, role of DCAA/DCMA, and emerging patterns of government financial policy. The course examines financial and administrative issues related to management of government contracts and funding government contracts including various types of direct and indirect costs for different forms of organizations and operations; elements of indirect rates, billing, fee recovery and final settlement; contract cost principles of allowability, advanced agreements, and disallowance of costs; cost accounting standards, rules, regulations, and contract provisions, including administration of accounting changes and noncompliance actions.

PM 0004 Introduction to Project Management: Framework and Integration
This course is designed for those who have already been introduced to project management, but are looking to gain more understanding about the project management framework, project management standards, and the project management knowledge areas. Some of the topics covered will include: terminology and definitions, the role of a project manager, benefits of project management, project life cycle and organization, project management processes, and the project management knowledge areas. A focus on project integration management will cover the development of a project charter, project scope statement, and project management plans.

NC 0310 Global Fieldwork for Global Competence
The fieldwork includes domestic or international fieldwork experiences lasting 2-3 weeks in which participants are placed in schools and/or community organizations to integrate and implement learning in the classroom. The fieldwork component of the Global Competency Certification Program provides a critical and immersive element to the online coursework leading up to the experience. Fieldwork provides a critical and real culmination to coursework and provides the necessary foundation for coalescence with collaborative practice group work. You will work together within country groups to prepare for, participate in, and reflect upon the immersive fieldwork experience.

Marketing is crucial to the health and survival of any organization. This six-week course involves a comprehensive study of the basic concepts, techniques, and tools for developing a marketing strategy for the business of craft beer. Topics include research, targeting, positioning, branding, traditional media versus social media, public relations, websites, blogging, and email campaigns. We'll also explore building your customer base on-premise, off-premise, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) through both traditional and unique forms of marketing. Students will create their own craft beer marketing plan for their chosen beer or brewery.

LS 0009 Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Get your Black Belt if you will be leading multiple process improvement projects and coaching others to apply their problem-solving skills.

Black Belt Training is an online, advanced course that empowers you to lead and mentor Green Belts and plan/execute strategic Lean Six Sigma programs. This course requires that a Black Belt project be submitted to complete the certificate. Achieving the Black Belt certificate will enable you to transform your organization by reducing costs, increasing revenue and improving collaboration.

Included with this Black Belt Training is 1-on-1 Project Coaching. If you don't have access to a Master Black Belt within your organization to coach and support you to complete a successful project (or if you'd prefer to work with one of our Experts), we can pair you with one of GoLeanSixSigma.com's Master Black Belts. Their Master Black Belt will meet with you remotely to:
  • Select an appropriate Black Belt Project to ensure your project is appropriate (1 hour session)
  • Coach you through Tollgates for each Phase of DMAIC to help ensure your project is on the right track (1 hour session for each Phase)

HC 0011 EKG Technician Certification

This comprehensive 52.5-hour classroom course will prepare students to perform as an EKG Technician and sit for the EKG Technician (CET) exam through the National Workforce Career Association (NWCA). Students will learn the role and the function of the EKG Department in a variety of settings to include hospitals, mobile services, medical clinics, and offices. They will also learn medical terminology as it relates to electrocardiography, learn about the care and safety of patients, and how to prepare a patient for monitoring. Students will practice with EKG strips to gain a basic understanding of the heart’s anatomy and electrical conduction system. They will also learn how to interpret EKG monitoring, equipment operation and troubleshooting, and 12-lead placements.
