PSY 0052 Mental Health in Policing and Corrections

This course, in particular, will focus on the areas of Police Psychology and Correctional Psychology, how mental health issues affect these fields, and how to identify and respond as officers to inmates or patients with these concerns. This course is part of the forensic certificate program and is a good adjunct to the mental health in criminal justice course as well as the active shooter course.
