The Mathematical Statistics for Data Science course introduces core principles and mathematical underpinnings of statistical inference in data science applications. Topics discussed in this course include probability concepts, properties of probability models, sampling distributions, limit theorems, fitting probability distributions, properties of statistical estimators and inferences, evaluating statistical models. NC 0330 CEU Tribal Cultural Monitoring
Offered through SDSU’s Global Campus, Tribal Cultural Monitoring will help you become an advocate for Indigenous communities and a protector of cultural heritage from construction, development, and other human activities.

Sessions are held once a week for 10 weeks through It has been approved for 3.0 continuing education units (CEUs – 10 hours of work = 1.0 CEU). The primary purpose of the CEU is to provide a permanent record of the educational accomplishments of an individual who has completed a noncredit educational program. This record can be used to give employers, professional associations, and societies a uniform measure of short-term educational programs completed by an individual.

CEUs are not academic units and do not appear on an SDSU transcript, and they cannot be applied to degree work at institutions of higher education. Individuals satisfactorily completing this course will receive 3.0 CEUs and an official digital certificate stating completion of 3.0 CEUs in Tribal Cultural Monitoring from San Diego State University.
