WI 0034 Importing and Distribution
Importing and distributing wine isn’t all traveling and tasting. To become a successful wine importer/distributor, you need a comprehensive understanding of warehousing, budgeting, time management, marketing, branding, packaging, pricing, licensing, regulations, shipping, and working with wholesalers and retailers.

In this class, you’ll learn how to create a strong business model and start building a portfolio to match. You’ll also learn about different resources that wine industry professionals have used to build their businesses. Through real-world advice, guided wine tastings, and a close examination of different brands, styles, and packaging, you’ll learn what it takes to stand out in a crowded field and find success in importing and distribution.

MP 0204 Tradeshows and Event Security
Expositions and tradeshows are exciting events with their own level of complexity. Everything from Comic-Con to a wine festival, each event is unique. Students will gain understanding about the basics of producing these types of events, whether big or small, including: the strategy of designing the layout and floor plan, working with various contractors, exploring sponsorship and promotional opportunities, assigning booths, and how to maximize interaction with exhibitors and attendees. The class will also cover the importance of proper event security, including a risk assessment and security plans and staffing.

ENGR 0025 Accident Prevention and Loss Control
This class will focus on managing the construction safety function. Students will learn how to use the project schedule to help prevent losses. You will learn how to select methods and equipment to prevent loss and ensure a safe working environment. We will study the delegation of responsibility for safety, equipment maintenance, and common construction hazards. You will learn how to administer an accident prevention program at the job site level as well as how to handle a job site inspection by a regulatory agency. We will review the documentation, reference materials, and advisory services that are available to the construction supervisor.

OL 0132 CompTIA Security+ SYO-401
Comptia Security+ is a vendor neutral security certification that tests foundation knowledge of security skills in a computer environment. This course exams control fundamentals and the CIA traid, along with the types of malware that can affect computer systems and the mechanisms and applications that can be used to combat this malware. This course will help to prepare the learner for the security+ SYO-401 certification.

Target Audience
Security professionals with a minimum of two years’ experience in IT administration with a focus on security who have day-to-day technical information security experience and a broad knowledge of security concerns and implementations.
