LS 0009 Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Get your Black Belt if you will be leading multiple process improvement projects and coaching others to apply their problem-solving skills.

Black Belt Training is an online, advanced course that empowers you to lead and mentor Green Belts and plan/execute strategic Lean Six Sigma programs. This course requires that a Black Belt project be submitted to complete the certificate. Achieving the Black Belt certificate will enable you to transform your organization by reducing costs, increasing revenue and improving collaboration.

Included with this Black Belt Training is 1-on-1 Project Coaching. If you don't have access to a Master Black Belt within your organization to coach and support you to complete a successful project (or if you'd prefer to work with one of our Experts), we can pair you with one of GoLeanSixSigma.com's Master Black Belts. Their Master Black Belt will meet with you remotely to:
  • Select an appropriate Black Belt Project to ensure your project is appropriate (1 hour session)
  • Coach you through Tollgates for each Phase of DMAIC to help ensure your project is on the right track (1 hour session for each Phase)

Learning Objectives
After completing Black Belt Training you will be able to:

  • Describe the ways that Black Belt Training enhances the Green Belt body of knowledge
  • Define the process used to select an appropriate Black Belt Project
  • List and define the influence and facilitation skills that help Black Belts improve their leadership capabilities
  • Describe how to coach Green Belts and other Lean Six Sigma practitioners through each Phase of DMAIC
  • List the steps involved in testing the measurement system, sampling the data and assessing process capability
  • Describe the steps involved in conducting hypothesis tests to assess theories of root cause
  • Identify which type of tests are appropriate for any given data set
  • Describe the steps involved and the different uses for Design of Experiments
  • Identify which type of control charts are appropriate for any given data set
  • Describe how and why to apply visual management to an improved process
  • Describe how to construct an effective project storyboard

WI 0022 The Character of Wine
Character can be defined as a wine with top-notch distinguishing qualities. Learn what is involved in creating the character of red, white, or blush wines. In this class, you will learn the basic mechanics of wine making, concerns winemakers face, and decisions they make during the process. This course will review in detail the differences involved in making quality wine varietals.

HC 0011 EKG Technician Certification

This comprehensive 52.5-hour classroom course will prepare students to perform as an EKG Technician and sit for the EKG Technician (CET) exam through the National Workforce Career Association (NWCA). Students will learn the role and the function of the EKG Department in a variety of settings to include hospitals, mobile services, medical clinics, and offices. They will also learn medical terminology as it relates to electrocardiography, learn about the care and safety of patients, and how to prepare a patient for monitoring. Students will practice with EKG strips to gain a basic understanding of the heart’s anatomy and electrical conduction system. They will also learn how to interpret EKG monitoring, equipment operation and troubleshooting, and 12-lead placements.

The canvas enables teams and leadership within organizations to visually align their activities, articulate tasks into actionable objectives, and measure ROI post event.

Building a thorough #EventCanvas can be achieved through a sequential, 10-step methodology that employs a range of visual thinking techniques, including empathy mapping, experience journey, and instructional design modelling. #EventCanvas is available for download at EventCanvas.org
