Virology in Barcelona

Students will gain knowledge on basic principles of molecular and clinical virology. Then, they will become acquainted with viral infections of historical importance in Spain as well as very recent cases of infections of important human viral pathogens nowadays in the news. Frontal lectures will be accompanied by visits to both scientific and touristic attractions so the students will gain a full understanding of their surroundings; Barcelona capital, Catalonia, and Spain.
