Interested in Osher @ SDSU? Our programs are created with the 50 and better population in mind. However, anyone can join.

Our members come from all walks of life; many are retired yet others are still working. Members drive our community - as a member, you support quality programs for lifelong learners and help Osher @ SDSU to thrive. You even get a say in the topics we select and future programming!

Membership fees are critical to our institute’s success and sustainability. They help support our dynamic quality programming and continue to grow our engaged learning community and the connection to a national network of lifelong learners, the Bernard Osher Foundation.

All-Inclusive Annual Membership (Three Consecutive Terms)

Your membership is valid for one person for one year from the date you join. Members have unlimited access to all Osher courses free of charge, excluding edventures and trips. Some courses or special events may have small additional fees. This membership includes all the benefits listed above as well.

New! All-Inclusive Annual Aztec Membership (Three Consecutive Terms)

Take advantage of our latest membership package: the All-Inclusive Annual Aztec Membership! Your membership is valid for one person for one year from the date you join. Members have unlimited access to all Osher courses free of charge, excluding edventures and trips. Some courses or special events may have small additional fees.

This membership includes all benefits listed above, plus full access to SDSU’s Love Library, free admission to all regular season Aztec athletic events (with your SDSUcard), access to a free Zoom account, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite and Sign, Google G Suite, and more (with SDSUid activation).

Important Notes for Membership Purchases

  • Please note that you can sign up for membership at any time, but you need to register for at least one class in order to receive our membership benefits.

  • Membership is not a tuition fee, and accordingly, cannot be prorated, refunded, transferred, credited, or adjusted.
  • Course fees already paid cannot be refunded, and cannot be applied to membership fees.

SDSUcard: Your Ticket to San Diego

Osher @ SDSU members can purchase an SDSUcard for a one-time fee of $25. With your SDSUcard, you’ll have access to several exclusive benefits, including:

  • Special student pricing at area theaters, museums, cultural facilities, and public transportation (please contact participating organizations for rates and availability).
  • In future terms, you can renew your SDSUcard at no additional charge by renewing your membership and registering for Osher classes.
